Steven Anthony Behar Esq. is an attorney, entrepreneur, political consultant and a community and political activist. Steve began his career as an attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. during the Clinton administration. After leaving the SEC, he worked as a Senior Associate at Wall Street law firm Milbank LLP (formerly Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP) and then served as Corporate Counsel at Toys “R” Us, Inc. Since 2004, Steve has operated his own law firm Behar Law Group PLLC and has served as a political consultant to numerous Democratic campaigns. Steve has also served Counsel in the New York State Senate and Counsel in the New York City Counsel.

Steve received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University at Albany, a M.B.A. in Finance and Management from Tulane University, a J.D. from Tulane University and a LL.M (Master of Laws) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University.
